Becky started opera at the age of 13, performing in minor roles such as palace maids. The moments of stage time and the entertaining performances made her interests in Cantonese opera to grow. Not only did the graceful motion and techniques were what she enjoyed but the art of the elaborated hair pieces and costumes. As she continues her opera experience and hope to eventually play all females roles from Diao Chan, one of China’s four deadly beauties, to a woman general from Women Warriors of the Yang Family.
